The green necklace looks like Chinese jade jewelry. The 6mm beads are not small; they are medium-sized. The color and length perfectly match the description in the ad. This review should be taken in context of the current selling price, which is $14 (and not terribly different at what appears to be a regular price of $16). If this necklace were priced higher, we’d be having a much, MUCH different conversation.
However, for a necklace in what we’re going to call the $15 range, give or take, this is a good buy. They need to keep the word “jade” out of it, unless they’re going to put faux in front, or similar disclaimer, though. Green aventurine is an entirely different mineral altogether and is in no way interchangeable with jade, so there’s no reason to invoke that term at all. That said, this is not darker than jade, since jade comes in all sorts of colors, from pure white to deep, dark green, and even black and lavender. It’s the mineral, not the color, that determines what it is. Anyway – deep, vibrant green jade (sometimes called imperial jade) is the most valuable and probably what most people think of when they think of that stone, and this is WELL lighter than that color.
Anyway – the aventurine beads are a nice pale green with darker veining running through. The drill on the beads isn’t outstanding, but that’s not obvious at any reasonable social distance. The findings look fine, as in they aren’t orange or obviously fake. The pearl on the end is absolutely cull quality (flaws obvious to the naked eye), but it is real and relatively large, and it hangs on the back to weigh down the extender so it is less likely to tangle. If you don’t love it, it’ll come off fairly easily. I have no problem with imperfect pearls, especially in this context, and especially at this price.
I had to do some fiddling with it – tighten clamshells, get an end cap tucked in better – which again at a higher price point I’d have a lot to say about. At this price point for natural beads and an actual pearl, though, I’m okay with fine tuning the workmanship.

Really pretty color and doesn’t feel cheap. The stone beads have a decent weight and sits well on the neck and the clasp seems solid. I might get one more color for other outfits since the price is good
