I ordered this necklace as a baptism gift for my 12 yr old granddaughter. Because it was for a religious recognition, the cross fits in perfectly. However, I love the ability to remove the religious symbolism and just wear it as a true boho necklace or bracelet. The purple color is very pretty. I was stuck between the purple and the turquoise. I’m sure I would have been just as satisfied with the turquoise (which is a great summer color).
My granddaughter received the necklace yesterday, and put it on immediately. We tried to put it on as a bracelet at first, but the cross prevented the “bracelet” from sitting flat. So we switched it to a necklace. It’s noticeable in the best way. It doesn’t scream, “LOOK AT ME!” It quietly says, “I’m right here.”
Yes, this necklace is pretty. Yes, it’s versatile- cross or no cross, necklace or bracelet. But I don’t understand the cost. Nor do I know the quality of the beads. The necklace is not weighted in any way. The product page description isn’t very telling regarding the quality. It says, “purple jadeite beads”.

I guess I think the price is a bit high because a bag of beads in this color isn’t expense at all. I will admit that I find commenting on “value for the money” a bit challenging at times, especially when it’s a product that is made of items like beads… because their true value- and cost to the seller- is a mystery to me.
Aside from trying to determine if the necklace is worth the price, what I can say without any reservation, is that it is a pretty necklace. 😊

Beautiful gemstone necklace. I got this as a. 18th birthday present to my future granddaughter-in-law. I choose it because she loves purple and is a wonderful faith filled young lady. So I love the cross and feels like it adds so much to it. I also love that it’s made from gemstones and not plastic beads. I’ve been getting pieces of jewelry for my daughter, granddaughters and his soon to be granddaughter that are meaningful and they are “real”. The piece may not be expensive and may not be diamonds but other gemstones that they can wear and enjoy and think of me after I’m gone. She absolutely loves it and said it’s gorgeous. It is very lovely. Comes in a nice gift box for presentation. It was hard to pick because all of these were truly lovely. I’m always glad to see gemstone jewelry because there are so many beautiful options beyond diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. Beautiful necklace and will make a lovely and thoughtful gift. I feel that it’s a good value. It’s well made also.
