it has a very distinct flavor, and if you are into the traditional teas, it is pretty spot on. it smells amazing while brewing, and the after drinking it for a bit, it DID actually make me feel a little more relaxed. not the normal feeling after drinking a hot beverage, but something else. i have had it several times, and each time gave me the same feeling. it is hard to put a finger on it exactly, but it does seem to work.

Very simple to use and steep tea. I have minimal if any loose leaf debris in the cup after steeping. Good strong tea in taste and aroma. What could make this a little bit more effective for me would be each of these tea bag individually packaged so if you want to take tea to work you don’t need to put it in another container to minimize air exposure before use.

I may not keep ordering them if they don’t switch to a non-plastic bag options though. I’d like to move away from plastic wherever I can…

First thing, the packaging and product look very inviting. ¬¬¬Then I read the warnings on the package label: “Pregnant or nursing women, women during menstruation, infants, and children under the age of fourteen are prohibited from using this product.” Well, I’m a 70-year-old male so I guess it’s safe for me to consume. I’m also wondering if the serving facts reflect eating the contents of a tea bag and not just drinking a cup of brewed tea. It recommends refrigerating the tea bags and using it within 90 days of opening the package.
After pondering the label, I brewed a cup. The water immediately turned dark upon placing a teabag in the hot water. After a three-minute steep, I took a sip. It has a very earthy, unfamiliar taste. I haven’t heard of some of the ingredients so I’m not certain what the predominant flavor is. It’s not bad, just not a flavor profile I’m familiar with. I made four cups with the same bag before I could start to see the bottom of the cup. The strength softened but it still had the same flavor profile.
If strong herbal tea is your preference, you’ll probably like this. I’ll probably use the remaining 29 bags but won’t get anymore.
