I cant speak to what other people got, but i got real turquoise. I cut it into 3 pieces and did some Lapidary work on it, and i can say it is without a doubt NOT Howlite. I work with both materials and this is real Turquoise.

Just as I suspected. This is a dyed stone (probably howlite). Misrepresented as natural turquoise. It even came with a “genuine” certificate from EGL. It’s nlooking like I fell for a crooked deal.
