Almost a dark black, pretty decent stuff. Tastes pretty rough, but hey, it’s healthy crap right 🙂

I have used Frontier’s non-organic for some time, and it tastes fine. The organic tastes horrible–like urine and animal feces, which it may be fertilized with. Also, it give me an upset stomach which really surprised me as I have been using the non-organic produce for several years. Also I am a vegan (mostly raw) so very little upsets my stomach. Anyhow, I was disappointed and will not use the product again. I am going to go back to the non-organic brand or try a different type. Do your research on the difference between “organic” and “non-organic” spirulina and then make your own decision.
