Julie L. Chudzinski –
I bought this to use as a low carb substitute for bread crumbs in my salmon patties. I got the idea from a vlogger on YouTube. Not the products fault, but YUCK! They tasted nasty and I threw them away. I had to make something else for lunch. I’m sure the product is fine for other uses though, but I don’t know what I’m going to do with it now.
Julie L. Chudzinski –
The sole purpose of ordering this particular brand of psyllium husk powder was its advertisement that its “blonde”. I opened the package today to find that it’s not really blonde. That was a huge disappointment. If the psyllium husk powder color doesn’t matter to you, this is a fine product. This psyllium husk powder has a brownish/purple hue. It is truly not blonde as advertised. If you are like me and want to use it in your gluten free sourdough bread baking, this product probably isn’t for you. Disappointed, for sure.
Chair Lady –
Been looking for no flavored Psyllium husk and this is exactly like the big M brand (course texture) on tv only without any kind of sweetners. I use it to mix with my flavored because that stuff is always too sweet. This turned out to be a great find. I will be re-ordering.

I’ve been ordering this consistently since last Decemer, but they have now doubled the price, so NOPE.
Was $7.60/pk, now is $15.38/pk ! WTF?
Sorry, but this is not some sort of new technology. It is literally just ground up Psyllium Husk Powder is a bag. Sad because it WAS affordable.

I am sing this stuff for something quite a bit different than what most people use it for. I use it for gluten free baking. Sounds odd, but the stuff really makes great batter. I use about 1 tbl of this stuff per cup or so of gluten free flour. When it mixes with liquid, the psylium husk powder turns into a gel. Just make sure that you do not combine with Xanthum Gum. The two together really make a thick mess. And as a special bonus, the Frontier brand has a very nice flavor, but it is not overwhelming. And it makes very fluffy and moist baked goods.
Kindle Customer –
It’s pure psyllium husk as far as I can tell. It’s perfect for my diet. I just mix it straight up with water and drink it. I’ve gotten used to the “flavor.” After experimentation, I’ve found that a skinny round metal chopstick is the least fussy mixing utensil: it semi-whisks, scrapes clumps stuck to the edges of a straight mug, and washes clean easily.

I want to re-review this product after more than 1 year of using it.

I still love it and it changed my life a lot.
Also, my family member – who was operated for hemorrhoids – loves and used it daily.
I’ve started to use this product myslef – after advised by one doctor from abroad – in order to manage digestion problems and very strong pain-attacks and a lot of gases (burping type) I used to have very often – diagnosed as “Irritable Bowel Syndrome” about 1.5 year ago. (Please note I have very balanced diet do not eat junk, I do cook from scratches and in 98% of my life I eat home-made food). I’ve been prescribed a few different fiber supplements before I found this – and all of them helped for an hour or in some cases for few days and then caused more pain instead of helping – it could be due to the presence of high quantity of sugar or other ingredients. Aafter one of the previous fiber supplement of orange taste – I had such a strong and long pain attack I was feeling I was going to die that time. I still am unable to forget it – the intensity of pain was fluctuating, with some short moments of so strong kicks I could just scream, followed by a constant and dull pain I could not move. I was just crying unable and afraid that even light movement would cause more “kicking pain”. I do not wish anyone such experience.
The diagnosis has never been verified as I have not visit the doctor since 2010 = since I’ve started to use Psyllium Husk – I feel pretty good, and during last 12 months I’ve experienced maybe 3 moderate pain-attacks and all of them when I’ve changed my diet and forgot to take this supplement. I eat it every second day: 1 tea spoon mixed with some warm liquid (currently with mango green tea + spoon of orange blossom honey).
Last year one of my family member was diagnosed with serious hemorrhoids, and had surgery in order to remove them. After surgery – and in spite of a strict diet – he had very unstable bowl movement and suffered a lot of pain for first 4weeks. I’ve advised him to try to take it for few days. It worked! Since then he uses it daily. He mixes 1 teat spoon of it with his morning cereals. He is 9 months after surgery and not only his quality of life increased, but – he tells me that since he eats Psyllium Husk he has a very regular bowel movement he never had before and he can not believe he did not try it before.
He recommends it to everyone and this Christmas we gave it to every male in his family – after his surgery we found out it’s a genetic thing affecting only but all males in his family. We try to buy organic one when possible but both work perfectly fine.
So, if you have any of the syndromes described here and nothing helped you so far – you may want to give it a try
For us finding it was a blessing.
Please note that mine syndroms could be also syndromes of other sicknesses. For example, my friend had similar problems for years before they found out she was allergic to gluten. The syndromes disappeared since she is on gluten-free diet and she had never tried this supplement.

I love this product although it does not have any good taste (or bad).
It’s the first thing which helped me and still helps for pain attacks I have from time to time.
I still don’t know where they come from (some doctor suggested “Irritable Bowel Syndrome”) but this products helps me to get rid of them quickly.
I mix it with water, mango juice concentrate and a small spoon of sugar.
Tastes good!

I have started taking psyllium, buying the otc stuff, it’s so loaded with sugar that the Doctor was concerned about my blood sugar. I looked into natural psyllium and found this product and this seller to be one of the best around for the price. AND not having to run to the store to buy two or three containers that contain so much sugar.
Anyway, the product is as stated, a powder, perfect for adding to water and drinking it down. Shipping is always fast!!!!
