Chilling in Cali –
I know the price has doubled but I get it right away and it is available. I put water, Echinacea Augustifolia Root (immune system) and Elderberries (cough) in a crock pot and let it slow cook. I put the tea though a strainer and then put the ingredients back in the crock pot and I fill the crock pot up with water and do it again. I put in additional ingredients when the tea gets lighter in color. I use stevia to sweeten and It tastes delicious. If I put cloves (for cough) or ginger (anti-inflammatory) my kids don’t like it much, so I leave those out when fixing it for the family. We all drank it for three days If any one of us have cold or flu symptoms. When I did get the full fledge flu, I was drinking a cup every other hour and I got better the first day but they were feeling better by the third day. I try to sleep sitting up so not to keep waking up with a cough. But if I do start coughing I drink a cup of warm tea and it stops the coughing right away. I eat soup from chicken and onions and ghee, it is delicious. We eliminate sugar while sick. I have kids and colds, flus, strep throat, pneumonia, coughing… has been rampant this year and it hits so fast, so I try to get them to drink a cup a day.

Love this company. Herbs are always great and their prices are fair. I use them for tinctures, teas, and salves.
