These look nice and are well made. They look exactly like the description pictures. Once you get used to handling the flat backs, you will love wearing them, especially if you sleep with them in your ears. I have punctured behind my ears before with other earrings because I’m a side sleeper and always have my head laying on one side or the other. You won’t even notice that these are there. They are hypoallergenic and have cause me no irritations. They are very lightweight and you’ll forget you’re wearing them. They are sized just as described.

I ordered these earrings in 5mm & this is a perfect size for the lobe if you want them to be seen or to wear as a single pair rather than stacked.
The stone is genuine tigers eye with a lovely colour & pattern. The setting is a rounded cup which is pleasing to the eye & secure. The metal is titanium which is as hypoallergenic as it gets so safe for the most sensitive ears. The posts are well attached to the stud setting without any rough solder or bumps.
The posts are the standard 8mm length with a 4mm screw back which is also a standard size for screw backs although some manufacturers have moved over to a 5mm size. If you wear screw backs you know what to expect.
I love the modern pod holder for the earrings making them easy to store as it’s sometimes hard to find a way to keep screw back earrings.

These earrings are quite small and have a screw on back, which is not easy to put on by yourself. I wouldn’t buy them again.

I’ve never owned Flat Back Earrings with thin, narrow diameter twist-on backs, and I found that, while comfortable when on, there’s a learning curve to putting them on. In fact it took me about 6 tries before I “mastered” it (edit: I’ve had more multi-attempt episodes), and I initially gave these one star because I thought it was a design flaw. (Holding the backs at the very tips of my fingers helps).
PROS: 1. I like that these 5mm tiger eye studs are dainty but can still be seen (I wouldn’t call them bold, at least in an ear lobe). 2. Titanium posts are non-irritating. 3. These come in a small reusable case that will keep them safe.
Considerations: 0. One earring has the characteristic tiger eye stripe, the other is just brown 1. The backs are narrow, small diameter disks that need to be twisted on, which would be easier if they were barrel shaped. But for comfort purposes these backs are small and flat, and they initially tipped to the side when I tried to twist them on, and I couldn’t line them up with the post unless I could see them in front of me (I even trimmed my fingernails to give it my best shot, which was a bit of a sacrifice). 2. The stone is a bit under 5mm, but it measures 5mm in the setting.
UPDATE: I was finally able to get the right earring on once I quit looking in the mirror. To get the left one on I had to get close to a mirror, turn my ear so I could see the post, and that enabled me to screw it on. (I can do it wihout the mirror now) That left my Left ear beet red initially (that’s my skin), but once on they’re otherwise super comfortable and easy to sleep in.
While I initially gave these one star I increased it to four, because I’d never had earrings with such small, flattish disk backs, and therefore it was a bit of a learning curve for me.
