I don’t know how or why this works, but my husband is able to eat night shade if he takes this product afterwards (no more horrendous body aches and pains after peppers!). This product has a very fresh, green, and natural smell.

I have been buying this brand of Goldenseal Root for awhile now. It seems to work better and more consistently than other brands I’ve used in years past. It isn’t the cheapest (or the most expensive), but even this frugal gal knows that when something works this well, that is a Bargin in itself — I have an autoimmune disease that frequently leaves me fighting bacterial and viral infections. This product has been a life saver and keeps me from having to head to the doctor’s office for every single occurrence. I highly recommend it.

Update: I tried this goldenseal again when I had an infection and it has slowly cleared it up. It got a little better each day. I took 2-3 capsules 3-4 xs a day. So I am changing my rating to 5 stars. This saved me from having to take antibiotics.
Up until the label/possibly ingredients change, this was the only Golden Seal that worked for me whenever I had an infection. But now, it’s not working as well. I’m just wondering what the Berberine & Hydrastine content is now, since the percentage of both is no longer shown on the front of the bottle label or listed in Supplement Facts.
