Red rice yeast was recommended as a substitute for -statins to lower cholesterol since the medications have numerous side effects. I was advised to supplement it with COQ10 to avoid depleting other areas but after trying it for a month the side effects to using it were more of a hassle than my high cholesterol. After taking this supplement noticed severe GI issues and dizziness, I didn’t think anything of it or blamed it on the red yeast rice until I went on vacation and forgot to take it and my stomach went back to normal and no dizziness. Use with caution and under a physicians supervision.

I use red yeast rice to help with my cholesterol numbers. Just trying a different brand this time. I am not a Dr and would not advise unless you speak to your physician. For me, it works!! These are nicely bottled and a really price and super easy to swallow. Fast delivery also.
