These earrings are definitely real amethyst!!
They are bigger than they seem in the pictures. I have a tiny head and tiny earlobes, lol, so they look monstrous on me. But I think they would look good on someone who didn’t have a weirdly tiny bone frame, like me. Most people will be able to wear these well.
In one of the pictures, you can see a rainbow on the side. I originally thought this was a chip out of the amethyst, but it’s smooth. It’s actually a rainbow chip embedded in the amethyst that helps show the authenticity of the stone.
When I hold the amethyst up to light, it is very cloudy. This also shows the authenticity of the amethyst. It shows the low quality of the gemstone, as well. For the price, I certainly don’t expect the highest quality amethyst. So this is a pro for the earrings, as it means they are definitely real. It’s also a con, if you thought you were getting giant high quality amethysts for such a cheap price.
However, in reality, you are not made of a beam of light. No one is going to notice that the amethyst is cloudy against the backdrop of your skin. If I saw these in person and hadn’t ordered them myself, I would assume they were purple plastic as they don’t have the sheen of high quality amethysts. They would still be pretty costume jewelry, I just wouldn’t think they were real. The fact that they are is cool, but it’s not going to be readily apparent.
Due to the cheap price and the fact that they absolutely are real amethyst and not falsely advertised, they get a solid 4.5 stars! Set your expectations right for the price, and you will not be disappointed.

I received this free item through the Vine program. These earrings feature natural amethyst stones with a unique teardrop shape and a rich purple color that pairs well with many different outfits. They are a beautiful addition to a jewelry collection and work well for both casual and more formal occasions.
While the aesthetic is excellent, the leverback backings do have some specific comfort issues. The gold backings feel a bit tight on the ears, which makes it difficult to wear them for extended periods of time. Additionally, the backings are slightly long – this can make laying down or resting your head uncomfortable unless the earring is adjusted first.
Despite these fit concerns, the stones themselves are high quality and the overall design is very attractive. I plan on wearing them again, though perhaps for shorter durations where the tightness is less of an issue. They are a solid choice for those who prioritize the look of genuine gemstones and want a secure closure, even if the tension is a bit high for all-day wear.

These cute earrings have a lovely gemstone and are made of gold plated, stainless steel. Usually, this metal combo is safe for hypoallergenic ears. I’ve had no issues. They are lightweight for their size and do not pull on my ears. They are just the right size to dangle gently to catch the light. These earrings are both casual and dressy, depending on your wardrobe. Wear these versatile earrings almost anytime, to the mall, date night, while running errands and they are office friendly. Nicely priced.

These earrings are such a pretty statement piece. The color of the stone is vibrant and eye catching without being overwhelming, and it adds a really nice pop whether you are dressing up or just adding something extra to a simple outfit.
One of my favorite features is the clasp style. It closes securely in the back, so you do not have to worry about losing separate earring backs, which is such a small detail but makes a big difference in everyday wear. They feel secure once on and stay in place comfortably.
