For a ginger spice tea, this is very peppermint forward with ginger (More like a peppermint ginger tea). Another review said she added more ginger to the tea and it was perfect. Since I really love ginger, I did the same and it is absolutely perfect! I just brew it and drink it without any sweeteners or cream. Such a great tea!

I was expecting a strong spicy ginger tea experience but am actually pleasantly surprised that this is more mild, and has a sweet aftertaste. Great blend. I brought some water to a boil and removed from heat, then allowed the tea to steep for probably 10 minutes, as I was somewhat distracted. This made for a gentle sipping experience, not too hot. I’m betting it would be spicier if I had allowed it to boil a little instead of removing from heat. I wouldn’t use a sweetener with this blend unless you have a big sweet tooth, it’s naturally sweet already. I’m glad I tried this out and think it was a nice value. If you’re looking for brute force of ginger, this is not the one, but is instead full of distinguishable flavors. I think a tea snob would love this, I do.

Love the taste of this tea, but as others have written it needs a stronger ginger taste, so I purchased 1/4 lb of fresh ginger tea and added it to the pound bag now it is perfect. There are many organic fresh ginger teas around and it is worth the $ to add it as this blend is yummy

Ginger tea is my absolute favorite tea. It is my “Go to” whenever I have the slightest discomfort in my tummy. Ginger immediately settles and soothes even with the worst of viruses.

This makes a tasty and pleasant evening herbal tea. I admit I am addicted to black tea and when younger, I would happily drink caffeine all day and night. But I need sleep these days and this tasty herbal tea is perfect for evenings. I love the combination of ginger and lemongrass with the hint of licorice.

Less ginger than I was expecting. Like other reviewers stated, there is more of a peppermint taste. Was looking for something a little more ginger-spicy for the medicinal benefits. It’s a large bag and I’ll use it but also going to continue looking.
