Chain is 27 3/4″ long, very smooth look and feel, easy to work the clasp – although with a chain that long – you may not NEED to use the clasp. It really is a “put it on over your head and wear it with your turtleneck” kind of necklace. There is no adjustment to the length as is. You MIGHT be able to get a very fine small ring and add it to the chain farther in – if you might have a specific shorter length you sometimes would want to wear it at. (OR -tie a knot or a FEW knots in the chain might work for you too.
It is a “wintery” looking necklace (to me) – very rustic slice of ice effect. Mine is about 1 1/8″ diameter and between about 1/4″ and 1/3″ thick. The unique pendant hanger is about 5/8″ long and 3/8″ wide – ALSO – the double rings it hangs on the chain by CAN accommodate a much wider chain – or maybe something like a cord or leather substitute for the chain which it comes with. Something as wide as 3/16″ would likely work fine. I think I’d probably like the look of this pendant on a shorter leather cord if I was going to wear it regularly. (Just a personal preference!)
I’m sorry to say I was expecting to love this more than I do.
I know it’s a clear quartz crystal – but if I DIDN’T know – I’d think it was an interesting piece of glass.
The way the quartz is connected to the setting looks a little awkward. Maybe something other than one straight screw going into the crystal (with what may or may not be, a little dab of white looking glue at tip of the screw to keep it secure???) would be more harmonious looking. I DO appreciate simple style – but – even if the screw was LONGER and went ALL the way through – like a silver string going through a bead effect – maybe it could end with a bit of silver under the stone – and it would look more natural. (Again – all just personal preference)
What caught my eye FIRST though – I think is more than just my personal problem…
I don’t know how much of the necklace is supposed to be Sterling Silver (I assumed probably both the stone’s setting and the chain were likely bronze plated with silver.) In the pictures – the setting and chain look like the same “tone” of silver though – which I expected them to be. The chain and setting I have, however, don’t look the same. Both look NICE – but by the look ALONE – the chain might be polished stainless steel (darker and bluer tone) – and the setting might be, less polished … aluminum (lighter tone and slightly “milky”) They just don’t look right together, and it’s a pronounced enough difference that I think it should have been noticeable in the pictures – which instead make them look like a better match.
If this was a less expensive item – I’d be much less picky about it. (Hey – at the price – maybe the chain is plated and the setting is actually ALL Sterling Silver?) No silver “stamp” that I can see – but way for me to know for sure…
I DO think this pendant will look good and suit my style on a shorter casual looking cord anyway. Save the long chain for something else. (The teenager can ALWAYS use another chain!)

I’ve ordered quite a few crystal pieces through Vine, and this one is a solid pick. The clear quartz has that raw, slightly uneven look (in a good way), so it doesn’t feel overly polished or fake. Each piece will probably look a little different, which I like.
The 925 silver setting seems legit—no weird discoloration so far—and the chain is pretty standard but does the job. Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to throw on with pretty much anything.
For the price, it feels like a fair value. It’s not a high-end jewelry piece, but it doesn’t come across as cheap either. Good balance of looks and quality, especially if you just want something simple you can wear regularly without worrying about it.
