This is a beautiful bracelet, the picture does not do it justice. The sterling is high polish, making it look mirror like, a perfect framework for the blue fire opal. The opal is stunning and it’s all channel set or bezel set so the stones are very well protected. You won’t have to worry about one breaking or getting scratched. I just love the design of this piece…they need to create a necklace and some earrings to go with it, because it’s such a unique design.
It’s very delicate and feminine, but not girly. It’s a mature style for a mature woman, although women of any age will look great wearing this. I’d also like to see this in other shades of created opal, green in particular. I don’t see much green opal, especially in bracelets, so I’d be lining up to get that one! Created opal is making itself felt as an option in the jewelry world, and I’m so glad. The stones are stunning and color-saturated, and there’s nothing wrong with wearing man made stones. They’ve been selling created rubies for years, so why not do it with other stones?
All in all…this is a winner. Perfect for work or play, gorgeous on any woman, this will become your go-to bracelet. The only problem is the lobster claw clasp. It’s very small and not of the best quality. I’m going to replace mine with a large c-ring clasp which are much easier to operate imo. You do have a nice long built in extender chain if you need that extra length. I have a 7 inch wrist and there was plenty of extender left, so no worries there. A great bracelet at a very nice price.
