There are so many things to love about this gorgeous candle set that it’s hard to gift without getting one for myself, too.
I love that they’re hand-poured 100% soy wax made from soybeans from North American farms, the fragrance oils are phthalate-free, and the cotton wicks contain no lead. The natural semi-precious stones are polished and make beautiful keepsakes. These things contribute to a lower carbon footprint for manufacturing, and the candle jars are reusable and recyclable. The lids work as snuffers, safer than blowing the candles out.
The industry standard fragrance oil concentration is about 6% of the weight of the wax. These candles are 12%. The fragrance is not overpowering and is still enough to scent a room over the entire 50 hour estimated life of the candle. Keeping the wick trimmed to ¼” is a must for a clean burn and long candle life. All the fragrances are natural and enjoyable for me.

The citrus throw on this candle hits a good balance, strong enough to notice across a room within the first hour of burning but not the synthetic headache-inducing kind that some heavily scented candles produce. The soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin with minimal soot on the jar walls even after multiple sessions, and the 50 hour runtime holds up accurately based on regular evening use.
The black jar looks sharp and holds up through repeated burns without the exterior discoloring or the label peeling from heat. Crystal inclusions add a visual element that works well for the aromatherapy aesthetic without feeling gimmicky once the candle is actually lit and doing its job.
Wick performance has been consistent, no mushrooming or excessive carbon buildup between burns, and the melt pool reached the jar edges cleanly on the first burn which prevents tunneling from developing early in the candle’s life.
Soy wax construction burns cooler and more evenly than cheaper alternatives, and the citrus scent profile stays true through the full burn rather than fading to a flat waxy smell halfway through the jar. Solid candle that delivers on both scent quality and burn performance.

Lighting a scented candle is supposed to fill a room with a refreshing aroma, but this one loses its fragrance after just a single day of burning. The scent throw is surprisingly weak to begin with and fails to deliver the vibrant citrus experience that its presentation suggests. While the black jar and crystal accents give it an appealing look on the surface, the lack of lasting fragrance makes it a letdown.

Its fragrance is soothing and its appearance is pleasing. If I could afford it, I would buy this candle for placement in every room of my home. I encourage you to try this candle.
