I bought this to get the pure sweep without the calories and no additives. At $24 I would’ve expected to get exactly that. It arrived and I made it into a powder. It’s terribly sweet, it was a waste of money and you can’t return it. Don’t buy this product!!!

I ground up the whole package and my father uses it daily in his tea. This way he only puts a pinch in with the tea. He is happy with it.
Fyi: Give it a MONTH if you’re not used to stevia. It WILL taste odd for the 1st month and after it will literally feel like you added SUGAR to your food.

It’s not easy to decide to purchase a new product on Amazon, especially when it’s got few reviews. I’ve used pre-made stevia glycerites for years, but during the pandemic, prices soared or they were out of stock. I tried honey for a while, but my health conditions and honey don’t mesh. So, I thought I’d give this a go. I see some reviews say this product isn’t sweet. That’s not been my experience at all. I was making my own glycerite with this and it works brilliantly. Low on glycerine, I decided to try grinding the stevia and letting it simmer with my chai. It was lovely, sweet and there was no bitter aftertaste. The bag it comes in is nice and sturdy and you get quite a lot. I’m very pleased and I’ll be placing my next order soon. (I still have about a quarter of a bag left, but I don’t want to run out!)

I read that the healthfulness of processed stevia was questionable because of the refinement process. So, I purchased stevia leafs and boiled them in water to make a liquid sweetener. Unfortunately, I do not like the taste or smell. Maybe I will get use to it but I doubt it. The company and product are fine. Just wasn’t what I expected.

Found this when looking for a corn derivative free alternative to sugar. I just put a good punch of the leaves in my individual one cup coffee filter and pour a little hot water over it – then I add my ground coffee and more hot water! Perfect lightly sweetened coffee every time with NO added calories!

I love adding these stevia leaves when brewing my tea and tisanes. The leaves lend a gentle sweetness to the tea and seem to smooth out some of the harsher notes of some teas — I have found this especially delicious with Earl Grey or some of the breakfast teas. The leaves do work for sun tea, but I have had better results with steeping the dried leaves in boiling water and adding that to the tea before pouring over ice. The dried stevia leaves are especially delicious when steeped with tisanes — I have some favorite fruit tisanes that the are greatly improved by steeping the leaves with the fruit and/or herbs. The sweetness is subtle but so much more palatable than most other sweeteners (for me, honey is the only exception).
For those who have not used dried stevia leaves before, these are mostly for use in hot drinks. I have found that use them in lemonade, if I steep the dried leaves in hot water and then add the fresh squeezed lemon juice. The dried leaves are not a substitute for the white powder that can be used in cold drinks. I do use some dried leaves occasionally in cooking.
Just as an aside — I was intrigued by the different categories for rating this product . . . . especially the one that rates features for “traveling.” The only problem I’ve had with traveling with the stevia leaves is that they happen to look like another green leafy product that some folks try to hide in their luggage when traveling to places where it might not be legal! 😉

This is the third brand of stevia leaves that I’ve ordered on Amazon because the others unfortunately were no longer in stock. This brand is a good value for the money but you get what you pay for. The leaves are oxidized an awful brown color, crumbled, and there are also stems in the mix. It tastes very “stevia-y” which is a big turnoff. Other brands that I’ve used added a subtle calorie free sweetness to my tea that didn’t have a taste to it.
