I had been reading that jujube plums might help with sleep. I have trouble falling asleep and then staying asleep. I tried the dried whole jujube plums and couldn’t stand the taste so that was a waste. I bought this powder and make my own capsules. I take 4 or 5 size 00 capsules per night and 80% of the time, I fall asleep within about 1 hour of taking and stay asleep all night. I’ve even mixed this with juice when I ran out of capsules and it’s drinkable when you have to. What a gift and blessing that I found this!

My review is not a reflection of the brand or specific product, but rather a dissatisfaction with the fruit itself. It was very mildly sedating, yes, but I was led to believe it had an effect on anxiety/ relaxation, which it did not. If anything, it worsened my anxiety. So my twenty dollars purchase now feels like a supreme waste after being fed misinformation. The jujube fruit could also hurt male fertility, so watch out. There is almost nothing good about this chinese date.

I purchased this product because the listing clearly stated that it contained no additional ingredients, and the product image reinforced this claim. However, when the product arrived, I discovered it contained maltodextrin, an ingredient I cannot consume due to my health condition.
This is extremely frustrating, as I specifically chose this product based on its description. Misleading customers about ingredients is unnacceptable, especially for those with dietary restrictions or health concerns.
I urge BULK SUPPLEMENTS to update the description and images to accurately reflect the product’s ingredients. If you are sensitive to or avoiding certain additives, be cautious with this product.

Add some hot water for a lovely tea before bedtime. I use a teaspoon for an 8 ounce cup. Slightly sweet, very pleasant; my favorite herbal tea and yes, it does help induce sleep.
