Worry stones of any kind, I have found to be helpful for adolescents or even adults who have trouble with fidgeting, being still, or keeping their hands off of whatever the nearest thing is while they are engaged in conversation. Often times when this happens, they’re completely unaware. Worry stones are very helpful for such, and can be kept in the pocket which is also helpful bc then they can also keep their hands in their pocket which is even better when fidgeting is a habit or an uncontrollable act. Much better than pop it’s or fidget spinners that can also be quite distracting, and still cause the one speaking or instructing to not be quite sure they are listening or paying attention. They’re esp better for older ones. Rather than looking down at the item, worry stones can be kept in the pocket to help control the fidgeting, while also still allowing for eye contact to be made while in conversation.

As some other reviewers noted, some stones have little to no color mixed in. The one I received has maybe one or two small red/color specks mixed in… if you look really close! Never know what you will get, especially when ordering from “Amazon “!

Stone was solid, no flaws or cracks, good quality, excellent representation of heliotrope. Had a nice polish. Genuine article, not a fake.
Bloodstone is supposed to be a nurturing, grounding stone that helps with shock and loss. It calms and centers a person—perfect for significant unexpected grief.
She loved it and said it felt like exactly what she needed, before I even told her what it was.
Heliotrope is also effective for panic attacks and anxiety; the combination as a worry stone is excellent.

I’m feeling guilty over the fact this was purchased as a gift, but then I couldn’t let it go; I justified this by chiding the $12 cost for one stone, a bit smaller than expected. The piece should be enjoyed by someone who could truly appreciate it. The beauty of the stone is remarkable with color variation hard to see in thicker unpolished stones. Also, when I saw the stone aids menopause, I can see why rubbing the smooth surface may help when the time comes. Lovely product, thank you.
