I love this color as a natural flea and tick preventative for my 5 pound Maltese. I feel like it works really well! Note that you need to buy a new one every year. Once the Amber stone start to get smooth, they are not effective.

Looks beautiful on her and works to keep ticks mostly off… during their peak season she might pick up a few but I notice a HUGE difference and improvement with less ticks year around. Most the time she gets none it’s just peak season. She runs through literal woods and trees and brush and leaves and what not … live in a forest. I appreciate its 100% natural and no plastic involved or synthetic material. Just Metal, leather, crystals. Thanks and keep up the good work! I’ve ordered several over the years bc I keep it loose in case she gets stuck on a branch and she has returned no collar a few times so perhaps it’s good I did that. I let her wander off a bit on her own as long as I’m home and around the property bc my cat likes autonomy 😂 she doesn’t go too far but I did consider it could get her stuck … so far 7 years into her life they’ve been serving her well and she’s a healthy cat.

UPDATE:
broke after one week. not at all cool for the cost. am requesting a refund or replacement.
arrived just 5 days after order. box had stones that had fallen off. so that had me concerned and i began keeping an eye out for other broken bits. and when on a carpeted floor for the past few days, i began finding shards of these stones all over. in the past i have used these for ticks with great success. am hopeful this will stay in tact, b/c thus far, this collar is untouched when leashed, even for my very hard pulling over reactive guy. but not sure why i these rocks keep coming off – as if they are too dry and brittle?

They look really nice. However, I didn’t buy two of these just for looks. I purchased two of these for two of my dogs. I put them on and followed the directions. NEITHER worked! So I tried two of two different dogs and nothing. Still have fleas. I like how they try to trick you into wanting to try these for at least 30 days. You know what that means? You can’t return them. How convenient. I would not recommend unless you want something like looks like a necklace for a dog and is not effective.

Our Pomsky puppy was a tick magnet. We were picking 3-6 ticks off of him each day. We did not want to resort to poisonous chemicals so I searched out natural tick repellents and found out about Baltic Amber. It sounded a bit hokey and hard to believe, but what the heck, it wasn’t much more expensive than alternatives. The first day, the pup still had a couple ticks that we had to pick out of his fur and the second day I found a single one. Since then, nothing. Totally tick free. Maybe it works advertised, maybe it’s just coincidence. Whatever. All I know is that I will not hesitate to recommend a Baltic Amber collar to all dog owners concerned about chemically dosing their dogs. To top it off, this collar looks really spiffy on my dog and looks like it’s going to hold up well. Money well spent.

2 days after the month the collar broke. Not happy not having protection for my pup that has picked up a couple of ticks without it

I’ve had this product for four months and I have to say I do think it’s effective. In conjunction, I use chewable, garlic and yeast, daily supplement for my dog, and spray with apple cider vinegar, essential oil spray. We do not use any chemical flea or tick product. We live in the country and he is in the woods often. Before getting this collar we were having a lot of tick issues. And a positive lymes disease diagnosis. And now we are seeing one tick every several months . We were seeing several every DAY at least. I am happy with this product and happy with the seller. After several months the string broke on the collar , and seller is replacing it. We do not use this collar to attach tags or a leash but our dog is young and athletic. We also don’t get it wet. So if you take care of it, I think it will pay off. I think if you’re going to do natural things you need to go at it from several angles, so I think this is a good piece of the puzzle and something good in your toolbox of bug prevention
