   The negative feedback is not about the artwork or guidebook per se. I am disappointed to have received this “new” oracle and it being the same guidebook and cards (without borders) as the Blue Messiah Reading Cards by the same author. The card format is different, the title is different and cards come with gilded edging. If I would have known, I would not have bought the deck twice. Feeling tricked by Rockpool.

   I love Avatar and thought this was a new deck, but it’s just the Blue Messiah Reading Cards in different packaging. But overall, this is a great deck for healing and doing inner work and becoming a better you.They shuffle great and I love the gold gilded edges. If you’re looking for more reviews, just go look up the Blue Messiah Reading Cards.

   I love the artwork in this deck – as well as the Cosmic Oracle deck (also by Nari Anastarsia). These two have both been updated by Rockpool and that is why I finally bought them. The older versions were the Blue Messiah Reading Cards and the Cosmic Reading Cards and I really didn’t like the borders on the cards in those versions and I have to be honest that the borders put me off buying the decks. These cards are borderless and they look so much better. Avatar is also a better name than Blue Messiah. I’m glad Rockpool is updating some of these older decks. I think the cardstock is better with the newer versions as the edges on the older versions don’t wear as well. The only problem is that some of the other Rockpool decks I own are probably also going to be updated. I think it might make me sad about owning the older versions.

    I’m so glad I waited to buy what it was originally known as the Blue Messiah oracle, the new card stock is mate, art springs forward thanks to now being borderless!

    This a wonderful deck to meditate on, and the suggested rituals are great for journaling of embracing the energy of the card.
