This is a truly beautiful necklace and earring set. The hearts are indeed real stone. The first set I received, courtesy of Vine, had an issue in that one of the earring hearts was noticeably darker than the other. As I really liked the set, however, I ordered another set, this time in gold. All of the hearts in the second order matched in color, so I would assume that the first set not matching was a one-off problem. Would recommend.
