A very pale aquamarine colour, I think my photos don’t quite show the true colour (the last two are better) but it certainly isn’t the bright turquoise of the marketing photos. However, it’s very pretty and looks exactly like the real thing. Sterling silver too, as shown by the small 925 purity mark inside the ring. So yes it’ll tarnish but it’ll also polish up quickly to be super shiny again. It arrives in a little velveteen bag, with a card stating the silver purity and the fact it’s a lab created gemstone. It stacks over my keeper ring but it wouldn’t stack over another, very similar gemstone ring I have, so just be aware of that.
The sizing doesn’t seem right to me – I have a proper set of sizing rings so I know exactly what each of my fingers are. I chose the O, for my middle finger, but it barely made it past the first knuckle. It’s loose on my ring finger, which is a standard L, and when I put it on my ring sizer it matched an M, so you may want to check measurements.
Otherwise a sparkly, simple ring with a lovely shape and size gem, although a lot paler than I expected. Excellent value though!

It’s simple, understated, is a perfect fit, and comes in a drawstring gift bag. It’s an excellent price for such a lovely ring.

My taste in jewellery runs to two extremes – clean and simple or totally over the top. These rings reminded me of the stacking style I have admired in catalogues which sort of combine those two styles, and luckily I was offered several different rings to review so I chose 3 with the idea that I would recreate a ring stack. Unfortunately these are not designed to stack, as there is no clearance for the gem to overlap another ring. However they are so small and delicate that it is easy to pop two or more on a finger regardless, and for the price you won’t feel guilty about buying a few! When I select items to review for Amazon’s Vine programme, I do not know how much they cost and it is often only when I go to write my reviews that I check out the product page and see the RRP. This is one of the rare occasions where I was genuinely shocked, and in a good way. These rings, which are clearly hallmarked silver and set with a choice of 5 different semiprecious gems (I opted for the blue topaz in this style) are currently selling for only £9.00. Although they are lightweight, with a slim band and relatively small stones, the bands are strong enough to feel they will not easily bend or break, and I have certainly paid more for rings that did not feel as well made as these. They are a very simple style which will suit anyone, and honestly look and feel far more expensive than they are – I would not have been surprised to see them selling for £20+. The presentation is quite simple – just a small velvet drawstring bag – but I don’t mind that a bit, especially when the contents are so lovely! I can’t help thinking how much I would have loved these when I was a girl, I remember my mother giving me a silver initial ring and wearing it so proudly until I outgrew it, feeling like it was real “grown-up” jewellery. A couple of these would have been absolutely treasured possessions, looked pretty on small hands, and not been so expensive to worry too much about loss or damage to them. Very simple and classic and unbelievable value for money.

I got this as one of my sons have a birthday in December. I thought I might get each of their birthstones in a small ring and then stack them all. Unfortunately, the whole base of the teardrop/pear stone is flush with the finger and not raised above the base of the ring as some are… so the whole stacking thing won’t work. But this is a gorgeous piece and even more beautiful in person. The top to bottom length of it is about the same as my diamond on my other hand, so it doesn’t look itty bitty nor does it make my diamond look smaller… different hands so not sure how much that matters anyway. I would worry a little about the silver tarnishing, but it’s too soon to know how quickly this piece will. Beautiful, simple, and dainty, but not really stackable.
