These seeds are high-quality and delicious, and very easy to grind. I use them in baked goods like bread and crackers, and they always turn out well. Five pounds is a LOT of seeds, so I freeze them to keep them fresh, and it works like a charm.

This is a good product but expensive. We use it for our horses with amazing results. Went to the feed mill which sells horse products and ordered 75 lbs of unmilled flax seed for $32. Milled flax loses it’s value.

This is a good amount of flax seed bought for$15 in 2023. The quality is relatively good, no dirt other than broken pieces and skins of the seed. It also has a good shelf life.

I bought these as a substitute for expensive ground flaxseed from the grocery store. Fill coffee grinder no more than half full, and grind until you reach desired texture, shake down once or twice for best results. Store in fridge.
Cleans out your grinder if you also use it for spices and misc. I notice no off flavors. I mix 4TBS ground flax, 1tsp turmeric and about 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, mix with boiling water and let sit, stirring occasionally till cool enough to drink.
