This ring is not 925 sterling silver. ALL sterling silver has the 925 stamped on it somewhere and there’s no stamp. And I didn’t expect a real opal for under $10 but I did expect a pretty fake opal like in the other sterling silver rings I’ve purchased over my lifetime, and like the one in the pictures of this ring. The stone looks like whatever they put on mood rings ?? I added some pictures. The first pic is a real 925 sterling silver ring that I purchased elsewhere just a few weeks ago (paid $8 for it) next to this ring. You can clearly see the difference. Second pic is this ring, last pic is showing where the 925 stamp is located on my other ring (and on all sterling silver rings) Again, I did not expect a REAL opal ring for $10, but I did expect it to be what is advertised “925s Opal ring” I hope my review helps. This is a cute ring and I like it, but I don’t like being lied to. This ring is worth no more than $5… period. And as cute as it is, I won’t be wearing it much because it’s not sterling silver and it will start to turn either green or brown with the slightest amount of water, lotion, etc. Buyer Beware.

Although this ring is very cute, I am again disappointed that it’s NOT REAL STERLING SILVER as advertised.
It looks like it’s copper or brass covered with a silver finish (not even a good quality finish).
I am replacing some jewelry because it was stolen, and I mainly buy sterling silver. This is not stamped, it looks like it will tarnish quickly, and the advertisement clearly says it’s .925 sterling silver in several areas of the ad.
This ring WOULD be very nice if it were real silver.

I love opal so much and this ring definitely hits the mark. The opal is a beautiful round cut and has a blue tint to it in certain lighting. The sterling silver ring itself does not tarnish and is comfortable. I wear this every day. The ring is dimpled but I personally don’t feel it when I wear it and I think it adds to the style of this ring!

Absolutely stunning ring. I am a huge fan of opals and this one does not disappoint!
Super comfortable to wear over night and everything. Hasn’t tarnished or turned my finger green as so many rings do.

This is not bright silver as shown in the stock photo. It is dark silver/dark gray and the stone is green. It’s pretty, but I wasn’t expecting green. The 6.5 is too big, and I always wear a size 6.5. It looks very delicate in the photo, but is thicker and less delicate in person, which means it feels clunkier and not really comfortable. I will keep it though, hoping it gets more comfy just wearing it.

I gave this ring to my petite 20 year old daughter for Christmas. The ring looks fantastic on her! Opals are so useful- sometimes my daughter dresses a little bit on the “classy yet surprise accent of several black zippers” or black leather boots with jeans and a top that looks like she has been at a city museum all day. The point is no matter which clothing mood she is in, this opal ring will fit that outfit. The ring is well made and the opal is full of colors when the light hits it.
