First of all, the description is correct in saying the earrings are small. They fit on the tip of my pinky finger without going past the top edge of my nail. The photo gave the impression they were a bit larger. Seeing that they were surgical steel/medical grade made me think they wouldn’t irritate my ear lobes and would retain the look of nice earrings. I have worn them for two weeks, day and night. They HAVE NOT caused any inflammation on my sensitive ears which is a good thing for me. However, they have tarnished already taking away from the value and appearance. After my shower I used the hair dryer to dry them off. I wanted something I could sleep in and not have to change each day. These are comfortable and did not disrupt my sleep. They are a breeze to get on which is a bonus for my arthritic fingers and stayed in until I took them out; no opening up and falling off. If you wear these and take them out when you get home, they will probably do fine. If you want something to leave in and not tarnish, try another earring.
