I own many crystal books, but this one has become my “go to.” So much information and organized in a way that makes it a great resource book.

If you use crystals and gemstones, this book is a must have! It gives you a very “ well rounded” understanding of each crystal or stone, covering every aspect of life including Pets/ Animals!
The properties covered: Physical ( with very specific health issues addressed), Emotional, Home, Workplace, Children, Animals, Protection, Magickal and Psychic Uses, Special Properties, Mythology and History.
Ms. Eason also includes a description of each stone, the type of crystal ( it’s mineral make up), the Zodiac Sign and it’s corresponding Candle color. And it also includes pages to explain Master Crystals, How to make Crystal Water, the significance of crystal and stone jewelry, and the uses of different shapes of crystals and stones!
I learning so much from this book! It gives me all the info I need to decide which stone I can use specifically for any issue and stones I’ve never heard of but am learning about now. I’ve pretty much “retired” my other stone books because this is the only one I really need!

The outside of the book had some damage. The inside of the book was in good condition. The information inside of the book is very well laid out and very informative. This is not a book to compare pictures though. The pictures are only on some of the crystals and they are not true replicas. Besides that I would recommend this book to others. Also a very good price.

This is a fantastic reference resource to have on hand . It gives a massive amount of information about the crystals with historical and potential metaphysical uses. I should have ordered two copies as I am constantly referring to it regarding crystal usage and related characteristics for substitutions. Have many of her works, but this one is by far most treasured because of the practical applications possibilities. A wonderful resource and worth the price.

Was disappointed in shipping first go around, but had it exchanged and delivered next day. I just need to return the first order.
book is amazing! It’s my husbands favorite, very detailed. Could use more pictures, but great overall

I wanted to give this book a good review. The woman has good entries for each stone, and covers 1,001 of them. There is loads of information in each stone entry on what each stone is “good for”. The stones are listed in alphabetical order.
However, if you want to find a stone for protection, or for relieving anxiety, or for any specific health or magickal purpose, you have to wade through all 1,001 stones to identify which stones are for what. It is therefore not user friendly. This is a book that would be best utilized as a reference book, but obviously the author doesn’t understand what makes a reference book “handy.” A topical index, listing subjects people might wish to use crystals to enhance in their lives “for” would make this book 100% more usable. No one wants to read a reference book from cover to cover (well, possibly a rare nerd). People want to be able to pick up a reference book and find their information quickly. Look it up in an index, find the pages that have the stones that have “protection” or “healing whatever” in their portfolio, etc. Not thumbing through the whole book, all 1,001 stones, when you might finally find what you are looking for in an entry 3/4 the way thru the book, after wading through every page before that. No one has time for that. If she ever re-releases this book with a topical index, I would do a 180. But that is not the way the book is now. If you purchase this book, be prepared to do a lot of your own note taking. If you don’t want to do that, I would suggest the Book of Stones by Robert Simmons. He has two topical indexes, one for health, and one for everything else.
