Wally to small to cost $39! Rip off

I am really disappointed in my natural crystal geode. It’s significantly less formed, or less 3d than the geodes pictured. There is even one with the same cut pictured, but mine is much more flat with much smaller crystals. It’s pretty, but it doesn’t feel worth the price point and it is nothing like the depth or sizes pictured. I noticed too that it is less polished on the edges and back. The main crystal pictured has lightly polished edges. This has knife marks in the back rock areas and isn’t polished anywhere, not even a rough polish. It doesn’t feel worth the money to me. I would spend maybe $15 for this in a tourist gift shop, and would feel it was marked up a bit, but I would enjoy it enough as a paperwright at that price. Would not buy this in the future. Maybe I just got a not great one or maybe it’s personal preference, but I would have enjoyed any that were similar to those pictured in the listing.
Creating Heaven on Earth –
This is a beautiful natural crystal geode. I ordered the small size that has a listed range of weight between .44 and .66 pounds in the color of wine red.
The dimensions of my crystal geode are 2.5″ at the highest point and 2 inches at the widest point. I am a small female and it is roughly the size of the center of the palm of my hand. The area of crystals that are within the center of the stone are 2 inches at the highest point and 1.5 inches at the widest point. The middle bottom half of the stone, however, only has crystals on roughly half the stone. The geode itself is small, and the crystals are pretty far from the edge on the left side comparatively for the size of the stone.
The crystals are thick and chunky and a beautiful rich deep shade of red. The facets come to life with plenty of sparkle in direct sunlight from my window. They are rather hard to see in low light indoors in the evening. That is to be expected due to the deep wine-red shade of the crystals.
The back of the crystal geode has a smooth surface as does the bottom. It sits perfectly level on the surface of my desk.
I personally feel the price of $39.99 is quite high for the small size of the stone. At this time there is a coupon price offered at $35.09 and in my opinion the discounted price is still high. The high price and the fact there are crystals on only half of width of the bottom half of the geode is why I took two stars off.
This is a beautiful little crystal geode that adds a lovely decorative detail to my desk. Though, I personally wouldn’t order it again for this price and I would prefer there were crystals that span more across the overall size of the geode.
