Ceylonzon Ginger Black Tea Bags. Individually wrapped in foil, I received 50 bags which will stay fresh a long time. Individual bags are the only way I’ve found I can keep my tea fresh and flavorful. The tea bags hold up well for long hot or cold steeps. Nothing odd looking in the contents of the bags.
The QR code on the back of each wrapper is a link to order more tea. This is a missed opportunity for Ceylonzon to provide recipes for mass consumption.
I’ve been enjoying a cup after lunch as a digestion aid. Made a huge pitcher, chilled it in the fridge and used it for a batch of Spicy Ginger Honey mocktails for a recent dinner party. Huge hit. Tons of tasty uses for this tea and you can’t beat the price.

It’s really good! It’s a gentle ginger, not am in-your-face-spi-say kind of flavor. It’s delicate and well blended. It’s a very mellow, caramel-like tea with a hint of ginger. I didn’t detect any bitterness in mine but I made sure I didn’t over steep this one. I added sugar and a squirt of peach syrup. Then I added ice and a bit of cold and it makes a very lovely ice tea (yeah, it tastes like a Southern Ice tea). This combination brings out the ginger flavor and makes it taste like a bit of lemon 🙂
The tea bags are the normal rectangular ones made of filter paper. Each of the bags are individually sealed, which makes it easy to slip some in gift baskets or maybe into a letter to someone you haven’t seen in a while 🙂 The expiration date on my box is 05 FEB 2027, so I have plenty of time to finish drinking them 🙂

I drink tea every morning, sometimes two large cups. I try to alternate what I drink so I have a huge variety of tea at my house, over 40. I’d say this fits right in the middel in terms of enjoyment. I do like the ginger flavor but overall the tea itself is quite light in flavor and doesn’t fully support the ginger. I think it could use a bit of orange as well to give it more nuance.
All of that said, I’ve worked through most of these teabags, so I do enjoy it – I just have a lot of fantastic tea I’m comparing it against. I’ve started using one of these teabags and one extra strong black teabag and it’s far more enjoyable.

Got this ginger tea because I like drinking tea at night. The flavor is honestly pretty weak – I was expecting more of a ginger kick but it’s really mild. Had to steep it longer than usual to get any real taste or used two bags. It’s not bad, just not as strong as I hoped. The individual wrapping is nice though and it does smell okay when you open the packet.

I really like the taste — I was worried it might be too strong, but the ginger flavor is just right: warm, spicy, and soothing. However, the packaging was disappointing. It arrived in a ripped envelope, and the box was torn with tea bags nearly falling out. Tea itself is great, but the shipping needs improvement.

Price is right, brewed color is nice, and they are individually wrapped so their flavor won’t go away. The ginger aroma is not that noticeable or overwhelming, and you can think of its flavor as slightly mild. Very close to saffron or earl gray tea taste. Overall, it’s a refreshing and pleasing tea.

This ginger tea is a lovely addition to your cup. It has a beautiful warm taste that’s flavorful without being too spicy. Single serve bags are convenient and easy to use. Good value for 50 bags at around $8 or $9. I would order again when needed!
