This brand, while I have never heard of it, did not include anything in the ingredients that was especially bad, and while it’s a plastic bottle, I’ve only ever found supplements in glass bottles when they were considerably more expensive than other brands. So, while I hate plastic, I’d rather recycle this (the bottle is type 1, the most widely recycled plastic) than spend more for glass. And if I’m really lucky, after I’ve taken this for a few weeks maybe I’ll feel better or think more clearly.
Never having heard of “Bacopa monnieri,” I looked it up at the NIH and saw not much to worry about and some promising possibilities, e.g., said “Bacopa monnieri has many pharmacological actions, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, cardiotonic, bronchodilator, and peptic ulcer protection.[27][28][25] Bacopa leaf powder has been shown to have antioxidant effects.[29] The cognitive-enhancing properties of Bacopa are likely from the presence of a group of saponins collectively referred to as bacosides. Purified bacosides A and B, as well as bacopa alcoholic extract, may facilitate learning ability, memory, and cognitive performance.” You can read it yourself on the NIH website.
And at $22 for a six month supply, it seems quite a bargain. I honestly didn’t compare other brands for price since I was given this gratis, but in general, there aren’t many supplements like this that offer a six month supply for $22, and most, when they do, are rife with unpleasant-sounding additives, which this brand lacks. Makes sense, given the brand is called “wild & organic.” Fingers crossed.

Seems to be a quality company. I haven’t previously used them but have now recently tried a few supplements through this manufacturer and they seem to be a great choice for single ingredient supplements, especially from some less common herbs and plants. It’s great to see more options for pure supplements that just have single ingredients. Sometimes it’s hard to tell how a variety of supplements will interact with each other and to tell which ingredients are the ones actually helping. For this reason and for being able to fine-tune a dose better, I greatly prefer having thing separate rather than these “superfood” style mix supplements with a little of everything.
This seems to be a pretty good value. It’s reasonably priced when considering the quality as well. I found it to be a helpful addition to my supplements and will be giving it more of a try. It didn’t have any immediate effect for me but also wasn’t something I expected it to, it would be more of a long term health benefit.
I had no side effects and appreciated seeing that the capsules are pure with no fillers or weird ingredients as well.
Package was sealed and had intact tamper safety seals present, also plenty of time left on the expiration. Easy to use, easy to swallow. Minimal taste and odor, shouldn’t bother you unless you’re especially sensitive about that.
Overall it seems like a good choice for Bacopa.
