I gave this as a gift to a Harry Potter fan and it was immediately a hit. The spells are clearly laid out and accurate, making it easy to flip through and nerd out without needing to read cover to cover. It does exactly what it promises and feels thoughtfully put together.

I like the ‘personal notes’ and the included pronunciations making practice much more realistic. They even included information regarding the different woods used wands. We regrettably didn’t find many hand motions to go with the spells themselves. Our family enjoys wizard fantasy items and this one was top notch.

This is a pretty good book. It has most or all of the spells from the series. But there is a few things that I just like didn’t explain clearly. But for the record, the only thing that it didn’t explain clearly was a few things from the movie that the movie didn’t explain clearly enough I guess. But they included everything they did an absolutely amazing job.

This was not the authentic copy of spells for Harry Potter fans, and that fact was spotted immediately by an 8 year old child. However, the book will provide entertainment for the pre-teen ages.
